The company and its mission

Haitian Recovery and Development Company, LLC was founded in February 2010 in the immediate aftermath of the catastrophic magnitude 7.0Mw earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince and the Republic of Haiti on January 12, 2010.

Tampa businessman Jim Lange established the Haiti Recovery & Development Company, LLC (HR&DC) with the sole purpose of helping Haiti and its people.  Jim has committed to dedicate a major portion of his remaining professional life to this cause, and is assembling a team and group of strategic alliance partners and preferred vendors that will be second to none. 

Haiti Recovery & Development Company Mission

It is the mission of Haiti Recovery & Development Company, LLC (HR&DC) to assist with the creation of an economic engine whereby self-reliance is ultimately possible for Haiti and its people.  We are committed to the creation, implementation and management of a comprehensive recovery and development program, (Haiti’s version of The Marshall Plan). 

Through strategic alliance partnerships with charitable and for-profit organizations, leading governments and international institutions & agencies, we will help foster a new sense of nationalism, educate and train the Haitian citizenry (mainly Haitian adults), teach the values and scope of a free market economy, and combine the strengths of many to achieve real recovery and development resulting in lasting prosperity for Haiti and its people.  

It is this lasting prosperity that will ultimately bring about The Haitian Renaissance.


Haiti Recovery & Development Company Vision

To actively assist the country of Haiti and its citizens in the creation of a “nation-centric” economic engine whereby financial self-reliance is ultimately achieved. 

Initiative:                     

In essence this initiative is to rebirth a nation into fiscal and economic self-reliance.  The size and scope of such an undertaking requires assistance of many governments and organizations.  For HR&DC’s in basic business terms this initiative is a:

  • Land Development & Real Estate Program
  • Jobs Creation & Training Program
  • Agribusiness (small, medium & large) Initiative
  • Infrastructure Enhancement Initiative
  • Security & Stabilization Initiative

The core objectives of this endeavor are to:

 Create 5 New City/Enterprise Zones

  • Reduce Unemployment by 1%, per annum
  • Increase GDP by x%, per annum (7.018 in 2009)
    • Increase per capita GDP by X%, per annum (790 USD in 2009)
    • Move 2% of Haitian’s, per annum, above the poverty line
  • Create a lower-middle class
  • Increase literacy rate by 1%, per annum

Executive profiles

James Kelly Lange – Founder and CEO Haiti Recovery & Development Company, LLC

As Founder and CEO the vision and plan of HR&DC was conceived, designed, and developed by Jim.  He is the face and the steward of HR&DC’s corporate mission.  His responsibilities will include executive leadership of the company and locating the needed support of organizations around the world to bring about The Haitian Renaissance.

Founded Infinity Consulting & Training, Inc., in May 1996 where he focused on strategic management, development of leadership skills, organizational enhancements, and sales and marketing initiatives for clients.  His specialty has been in turning around under-achieving organizations, and providing positive results where others have failed.
 
Jim also brings over 30 years of management experience in both the manufacturing and sales sectors. He is the author of the book, The Commercial Construction Cookbook: From Suits to Nuts, and has authored various papers and workshops.

Dino Eliadis – Senior Vice President Operations

As SVP of Operations, Dino’s charge is to implement the vision and mission of HR&DC.  His responsibilities will include coordinating the many external resources and alliance partners required to successfully move the initiative forward.

Founder of DE, Inc. has 18 years of project management and operational experience.  Dino has worked extensively in the construction and manufacturing arenas, with a special concentration of efforts within the strategic and regulatory fields.  His experience also includes working on a national standard’s board developing unified standards for organizational project management.

Dino is a senior-level business professional with over 25 years of leadership experience and MBA credentials.  He has dedicated his career to creating and leading high performance teams and organizations spanning many different industries including federal program management experience via his 7½ year service in the Unites States Air Force.

Alex Lange – Senior Vice President Administration

As SVP of Administration, Alex’s charter is to oversee all internal resources required to meet the mission of HR&DC. Her responsibilities will include business infrastructure support and project management required to assure the company meets on-time and on-budget deliverables.

As co-owner of Infinity Consulting & Training, Inc., her overall responsibility is the development of the company’s project management, compliance, and HR consulting services.

Alex has 20 years of management experience in service-oriented industries and an MBA. Her work has included providing executive-level project management on key projects including implementation of large software applications in the HR outsourcing, healthcare, education, and mortgage banking industries.
